Do you have a minimum project size?

We do not have a minimum project size but we do require a minimum project fee of $5,000. We wish we could take every project but part of running an efficient company is ensuring we can make a profit. Taking on anything less than this minimum prevents us from running efficiently and thus offering lower project fees.

How can I work for your team?

We will post on the website any positions that are currently unfilled. We treat our team well and have very low turn-over. Positions do not open often and when they do our selection process is tough. Our team is efficient, qualified and fun. If you believe you can elevate our team, let us know!

When do I involve a designer?

As soon as you decide to build something. Involving a designer from the beginning will ensure a smoother overall process and will help to avoid costly mistakes in time and money.

Do I need to find an engineer?

We have a team of consultants who we trust and who employ similar values and work ethics. We have streamlined our processes in working together to minimize errors and time. Our consultants are always happy to bid a project for you but ultimately the choice for consultants is always yours to make.

Can I use my own contractor?

Of course! We recommend getting at least three bids for your project to help ensure competitive pricing. If you would like additional bids, let us know. We have outstanding contractors that can review your project and provide a bid.

Do I hire the architect or the contractor first?

Either. If you know an architect you trust, ask them for a referral for a contractor. If you have a contractor you trust, they will have an architect he can recommend. Ideally you will assemble and project team that includes the architect and contractor, along with consultants, as early as possible. This will help get everyone on the same page early on and will create a smoother flow throughout the process.

What type of design services do you offer?

We can assist you with finding a location, schematic design, design development, renderings, construction documents and submitting to the city. We can also assist in building your project team.
